For some daft reason I've been thinking deadline day was the 7th. Only last night in the pub I checked calendar and then twigged it's actually the 3rd of December.

1 week to deadline day, now. No pressure :-)

Is this even possible? Every game jam I join I start out with that philosophy just to see it unmet.

I've been beavering away like a looney over the weekend.

Think I've got 1 more major addition to put in, another 8 levels of game data to set up, and a few bits to tidy up now. 

It's the list of maybe stuff that's grabbing my attention, though. Wondering if i can put any of those in without breaking anything.........

It's not. I actually went for a pretty simple game in theory, this time. It's actually worked out pretty tricky to deliver it.

I have learned a shit load of new ways of doing some stuff, and, in particular, worked out a much, much better way of creating game levels for progressive difficulty, as I've never coded a game the way this one has developed before. I'll be sticking to this system when I make a game that doesn't just have new maps that are harder to work through as levels in future.

I'm writing out all the data files:
1 level + png = 2mb
game files, including all other graphics, models, sound, ui, etc = 18mb
3d model files = 866 = 10mb
engine = 7 mb

Keep chipping away at it lads, I knew I was going to be busy all through November and December.
Looking forward to just chilling out playing these entries with a beer and snacks. 

That's it, I'm finally done.

Not putting my game online yet as I've got a friend doing a load of final testing for me. All being well then hopefully I can put it online by tomorow evening, as i've got a busy weekend so can't leave it any later.

Music came from jewelbeat back in 2015. They are long since defunct, it appears, but i still have the licence info that shows i am entitled to use it.

You should be able to get up to level 9 without too much trouble after a few games. Once you get past there then it starts to get a bit hairy. I made it pretty easy for the first few starting levels.
