  • GfK: All back to normal today.  Arm's still a bit achy but that's par for the course when you've been run through.
  • Steve Elliott: Exactly, the wife was a bit fatigued after her first jab and it ached abit, the second jab totally fine.
    March 03, 2021, 04:35:02 PM
  • GfK: Meh, get it.  Side effects for a few days are a small price to pay.
    March 03, 2021, 03:14:42 PM
  • dawlane: Not sure that I want this jab now.
Chances are that I've already had the kung flu last year at the end of Feb. I had what was the weirdest cold ever.
    March 03, 2021, 03:08:30 PM
  • GfK: Yep.  There are five main side effects and I've got four of the sods. :/
    March 03, 2021, 02:48:25 PM
  • dawlane: Possible side effect of the kung flu jab?
    March 03, 2021, 02:06:40 PM
  • GfK: Jeez... feel rough as a badger's arse today.  It all kicked off around 2:30am; couldn't sleep, felt red hot and had a raging bonce ache.  Then I set off obsessively playing a stupid game in my head where I look at the clock and add up all the digits to work out what time it'll be when they next add up to thirteen.   Fuck knows what was going on there!
    March 03, 2021, 12:20:49 PM
  • GfK: I got a letter thru.  Booked both at the same time - 2nd one in May.
    March 02, 2021, 01:56:05 PM
  • dawlane: I wonder how long it will be before they finally call me to book the jabs? The sister already has her's booked.
    March 02, 2021, 12:32:53 PM
  • GfK: *flounces*
    March 02, 2021, 12:22:12 PM
  • Dabz: Looks at you... mincing about with your new vaccine!!! :P
    March 02, 2021, 12:15:12 PM
  • GfK: All vaxed up! \o/
    March 02, 2021, 12:04:12 PM
  • dawlane: The only time I'll ever take up smoking is when I'm being cremated. Smoking was a contributor to both my parent deaths, not a very pretty sight. If they had not been on the cancer sticks, they could have easily lived to well into their 90's.
    March 02, 2021, 08:44:40 AM
  • Dabz: @Steve, lol, I only really jest about being the size of a house, I am overweight, but not on the levels of obese, I had a medical about a year ago now and my lung capacity is great as well for a smoker (7 a day, so not heavy heavy, still too many I admit), I think the diving helps mind, I can do one length of the pool (25m)  with one breathe easy. Nah, what gets me is up and down steps all day, working through grid tiles, having to bend around services in ceilings without coming a cropper... Its all just... Age me thinks! :)
    March 02, 2021, 08:10:08 AM
  • Qube: I gave up smoking years ago and now if I'm in the same room as a smoker for more than a few minutes I have to change my clothes when I get in as they just stink whereas before I wouldn't smell a thing. Ex smokers are the worst :))
    March 02, 2021, 05:47:20 AM
  • Amon.: It's been 1 year now since I gave up smoking. Never again. It was difficult but quitting was the only option to prevent a bullshit later on the older I got. I'm 41 now and since giving up, I sleep better, everything tastes and smells better but most importantly, my breathing and having breathing problems is now gone.
    March 02, 2021, 04:37:35 AM
  • Steve Elliott: To be fair you are a fat and heavy smoker.  Don't blame it on the age mate, it's the lifestyle choices :)  Maybe a re-think for 2021?  A bit brutal I know.
    March 01, 2021, 11:19:34 PM
  • Dabz: Once upon a time I could graft all week, turn out 4/7 nights, chuck a fiddle job in in the meantime and repeat it all the week after with no issues... Now, if I have two days off, the first day off is getting over the previous week, the second is is spent thinking "Oh, bloody hell, work tomorrow", and regarding anyone saying "Here Dabz, you fancy skimming a bedroom over the weekend" is met with not so much of a no... More of a f[beep] that! :D

  • dawlane: Bloody shoulder is playing up.
So whomever has my Voodoo doll. Can you please stick some pins in the right shoulder and upper arm, as I too tight to pay for the services of an acupuncturist.
    Thank you
    March 01, 2021, 09:37:46 PM
  • Dabz: Ive ordered a couple more off ebay today, Anna Kornicorrrrrrrrva Tennis, and, WipeOut 2097... Should keep Michael busy! :)

  • Steve Elliott: lol some seem to think the idea is to complete the game as quick as possible - BY CHEATING!  Work it out and earn your progress I say :D
    March 01, 2021, 07:38:00 PM
  • Dabz: Just been playing pandemonium on the PS1, lol, I love that game, so many cheap kills and that, makes it rock hard... Would have the young'uns nowadays needing some sort of therapy, you know, because they find it "too hard"! :D [And there's no "skip level" feature as well! :P
    March 01, 2021, 07:32:06 PM
  • Dabz: And... I'm home! \o/

  • Cosmo: I think people should be paid to read twitter
    February 27, 2021, 09:35:53 PM
  • GfK: I don't even want to read twitter for free.  They should charge people for tweeting.  Then maybe the gobshites would wind their necks in a bit.
    February 27, 2021, 05:43:42 PM
  • Dabz: I read twitter  are going to charge monthly to read certain tweets... I lol'd! :D
    February 27, 2021, 05:19:21 PM
