Axel F cover done on the Amiga ( 4 channel audio ). Now this is clever optimisation and probably the best Amiga version of Axel F I've ever heard.

The mod size is 400kb I think? Is kind of big for a Amiga mod :)

Nowadays there are so many good sounding instruments to be gotten free or very cheap. So much choice :D

I was composing and loading up a ipad mod tracker (vividtracker) with sampled instruments from the roland sound canvas and the size just ballooned. Back then I just used ripped instruments and did not have to worry.

Very, very well done indeed.

Loved the Amiga's ability to create stuff with limited resources. It stimulated creativity to no end.
Still have some experimental tracks I made back in the days that really do not sound like anything else and have to convert to PC, but MED SoundStudio apparently went bust, so no other way then getting it onto the real Amiga(or perhaps setup UAE), convert to MOD and then import again into a PC tracker.

Will need to really clear my desk for all that though. lol

The original soundtracker and mod derivatives were based on the principals set up by the Fairlight C.M.I. Albeit on a more limited system.

Where the Amiga really shone was the quality of its audio output. It had DACs that made even low quality 8bit samples sound lush and expansive.

I've got a cd (somewhere) of music that was professionally created and arranged on the Amiga - hell I've even got a b-side on a commercial single that was entirely created on the Amiga

I was a a small outdoor concert in Amsterdam 10-13 years ago of a rather national known rap group and I could swear they had an Amiga on the stage. The rapper mentioned it as "a special machine"
