SyntaxBomb - Indie Coders

In 2020, I stared a band called Freedom Fire to express my frustrations with life at the time - and to improve my playing and recording abilities a bit. I put out a Bandcamp and some cassette tapes.

The album was recorded outside on my ranch in the dirt with a Marshall amp, Chinese Musoo guitar, Audacity, and a busted old drum set. First, the guitar track recorded over the metronome track. Then the drums over the guitar track with the metronome track muted. Then the vocals. Audacity really rules for low budget projects.

My demo never got much promotion and I really like it, so I want to promote it again. I am also looking to record a second demo. I just haven't been picking the guitar up enough lately with all the programming.

Someone made an entry for my band at the Meal Archives when the demo was released. This was a huge accomplishment for me. Even if some bands don't see it that way.

It was also shared on another youtube channel, but other than that I never had feedback on it except from family and friends.
