Hi.....I discovered the website:  https://turtlespaces.org/

A description there:

"turtleSpaces is an advanced Logo programming language interpreter that facilitates easy creation of three-dimensional artworks, animations and games. It is based on and compatible with Apple Logo II (LCSI Logo II), which gives it a cool retro feel, but with a vastly improved user interface and modern capabilities such as multiple threads and turtles.

Based on the Logo programming language designed by Cynthia Solomon, Seymour Papert and others, turtleSpaces is the first such environment to have the potential to truly deliver on Papert's vision of no threshold and no ceiling – a programming environment in which it is easy for anyone to get started building amazing things, but has the capacity to grow with the coder as they learn to create complex simulations and engaging games."

turtleSpaces looks interesting. It may be an effective tool for people who want to learn programming.

Hello,

Ordinary interpreted languages are not too slow on modern hardware.
