Try Shredder, it's good because you can set it to a particular ELO Rating based on your ability and it automatically adjusts for the next game depending on if you won, lost or drew.

What are you talking about? The computer tries to match your playing strength, so ups or downs it's ELO Rating based on the outcome of the last game.
