From the guys that brought you The64 and Amiga Mini, a full sized Amiga will be coming in 2024.

Hope they model it on the A1200. The original A500 was a bulky beast.

Not sure what the retro console is going to be though. They're doing a mini and a full size. Can't be a VCS, as I think someone else is doing that. Most of the others have been covered already, though, surely?

As much as I'd love a full size A1200 I think in this case an A600 would work better as it has a smaller footprint to keep on your desk rather than be the main feature on the desk.
Mac Studio M1 Max ( 10 core CPU - 24 core GPU ), 32GB LPDDR5, 512GB SSD,
Beelink SER7 Mini Gaming PC, Ryzen 7 7840HS 8-Core 16-Thread 5.1GHz Processor, 32G DDR5 RAM 1T PCIe 4.0 SSD
MSI MEG 342C 34" QD-OLED Monitor

Until the next time.

Either way, I hope they maintain 3.5 disk support as the originals, unlike the the C64 maxi. I never owned an Amiga, (though I wanted to, I bought an IBM clone instead, thinking that I would buy an Amiga later, but Commodore went bankrupt before I could buy one.) so I do not remember if it had a cartridge port, but if it did, they should keep that as well.

Owned an A600 back in the day, May have to keep an eye on this.
It's a thing that doe's when it don't..

Nothing wrong with the machine being an A600 size, but you're sacrificing number pad use, if so. Assuming how much you're going to use it, that may be an issue.

An A600 case would be 8).

I Seem to remember someone fitting an A1200 in an A600 it meant chopping the Motherboard and a lot of soldering!

Would be a nice project.

It had a CPU Accelerator and more Memory with SD card working. But just cant find anything on it!?

I have several dead A1200's and A600's Lying around.  :-\

Keeping the Floppy disc working with the added SD card slot would be nice and a "BLACK" version would be cool as well ;)

I think an A600 slimline case would be nice.

I hope the A600 case happens. If you've followed the ZX Spectrum Next and bought the board and the Accelerated! You'll be very disappointed!

I hope the A600 idea catches on. I hope it's going to be very different ;D

They've got to provide a nice environment where we can retro code on it.

Now where is the backers site for this!?

With a C64 and Vic20 emulator thrown in as well.

Kind Regards Baggey

therevills

I had an A600 growing up... it was a great little machine... but I so missed the numpad, I had to learn to play some of the games a bit different using the top row numbers.
