Congrats to the contestants

@ Qube

The game looks the most polished and was easy to play (of course harder to master). Not perfect, not offering much variation - but yeah, time constraints - so still best game in the town (population: 4) :-)
Other ideas and suggestions were done in the game's thread.

@ MrmediamanX

That game could be very well ... it has an intriguing easy to grasp gameplay (albeit I thought at first the red stars are decoration :D). It had some pleasing stuff for the eyes (rolling dice) but kept everything simple enough to focus on the core game.
Anyways it is number two (not one) for one big reason: GFX could be better. For me it was hard to see the "fields" during daylight as black and gray do not play well together with sunlight. So maybe increasing the contrast would be helpful -- you might even add a little gradient to the background to make it a bit less "flat". Same to say for the dice. Even more "offputting" (take with grain of salt) was the low resolution - there is no need to make it look like your last entry ("Playstation 1"-like). Make it crisp, do not let the "low res" (only low res, not "pixel art" or "retro style") and kinda blurried gfx affect the game - it has a nice core gameplay which can be improved with more elements and variations (dunno if you have it in - eg moving 2 dices simultaneously with multiple allowed paths to go etc).

@ Xerra

How to play the game in your crowns and anchor? For me the game did not do anything after selecting the "coins" ... no fail, no win no nothing.
Your "wordle" one was nice but missed some words I think were valid English ... anyways a rather hard game then for non native English-speakers. Gladly I found the word in 2 of 3 tries ... gladly vowels are used similary to German :p
I think if you added a little polishing (some "fitting together" gfx) it could be extended to a little "dice based game collection" ... but yeah ... polishing required as usual :)

@ 3dzForMe

Sorry pal, no points from me ... the visuals were... almost not existing, the gameplay was ... dunno, I moved a bit left, right, let it shoot the "cubes" here and then, then I saw levels increasing ... moved again left, right ... levels increasing.
Was not hit, yet I saw a "game over" screen telling me I won the game ... then it changed to a different message (still seemed to have won and gameover...). It all happend with level 6 of 7 being displayed ... so a bit earlier than it should.
I was not interested to repeat playing the "game". It was more a demo of "how to rotate dices" and how to "accelerate/deaccelate" player ships. Maybe it was lack of time but I am sure if you would put some more hours into it, it could improve drastically - as you surely are capable of doing so. Yet the game misses the special gameplay element to make it interesting. Am not sure if you could find one to make it worth improving that game. If you want, feel free to approach to me (or us?) for ideas, suggestions, feedback.

It's a thing that doe's when it don't..

Yay, another placing. Anyone would think there wasn't only four entries, with one not officially counted :-)

Qube, well deserved winner. I knew that would make a clean sweep there.

Derron, you're right. I can't believe nobody else mentioned it, or possibly even picked up on it. I had the game state fine working for the first dice game - as boring as it is - but it's bugged out parsing the logic on the second one, Crown and Anchor. I thought I'd fixed that but it's busted just after you select the token you're betting on to win. It's supposed to let you put in multiples of however many tokens you have left, so you can bet big or conservatively. But the processing of the dice updates for both player and AI would never execute the way it's now set up because I changed something else at last minute.

I didn't give the game enough time to get something credible out of the door so I'll take this one on the chin and do better next time. Glad the wordle worked out well, though. Tempted to maybe do something more with that.

Sorry for not playing it in the bugfix week ... was fully loaded with work the last weeks - and then 2 weeks of holidays with the family.

As said ... you could collect some more dice games, add a nice greenish "carpet" as background (casino style), add nice looking dices, maybe even think of making everything having a "perspective" (sitting on a table - or watching down on it like "standing next to the table"). Add some gradients.
I thinkit could be easy to improve (and especially: easy to extend for new dice games). Nothing you could charge for - but maybe an easy thing to develop in spare time (as the games are kind of "modules").

Dear Mr. Qube.

Where's the snazzy avatar banners for the competition entrants. I would say winners, but everyone won in the end :)
