As it's new years eve and I wasn't doing anything in particular, I thought I'd do something I've been meaning to do for a couple of years now and actually compile the Syntax Bomb game coding competitions results into a spreadsheet.

So, direct from my One Drive, here's a link to view what I have. I've set it not editable as I plan to do some more work on the document to add some tabs showing global results data, such as who has entered/won the most games and whatever any suggestions are passed my way. At present there is just the raw data added up to the last competition (number 16). As it's linked from my one-drive the link will show the most recent update without me having to keep re-uploading the sheet and adding new links.

I'm mainly doing this to brush up on my Excel skills as i'm rusty as hell these days and I thought this would make a great set of data to play with. Let me know if there is something that you want the sheet to show and i'll add a new tab, if i can do it.

Nice one ;D Funnily enough I was thinking about doing the same kind of thing so we've a fancy chart showing stats from our game comps.

Using filters and sorting seems to work a bit chugish on a web view for some reason I haven't yet fathomed, but I've already pulled some interesting numbers from doing some basic functions on the data I entered earlier from compiling all the competitions.

Two people have submitted 9 games in the 16 competitions we have had so far: Myself and Qube.

Three people have submitted 8 games: therevills, mrmediamanx and iwasadam

StevieG has submitted 7 games and has won 4 times, which makes him the joint highest number of winning games with Qube.

Basicboy and myself are the only others to have won more than once, and we only have 2 each.

You're welcome to pick out the raw data from the first tab and do that, by all means. I'm messing with it here out of curiosity but I'm no design person. I just show raw data, which is pretty boring compared to how it looks on the competition winners thread, for example.

You've done a sterling job so far and it's great to see the stats from the raw data.
