Probably Pac Man, or maybe Psycho Pigs UXB and Tetris (the music is fantastic).

Or maybe...
Emlyn Hughes International Soccer: a blast in multiplayer. Not the best looking game in the world but it had very good controls (at least the kid-me liked the way it handled).

Fort Apokalypse: again not the best looking game but great fun.

The Detective: It's such a fantastic little game, not very popular but very well done.

Sorry therevills, there seemed to be a typo in your post. You probably meant Amstrad < C64   ;D

I too assumed he'd just made a typo. An Amstrad could never have been as amazing as a C64. Thought they just made fax machines ;-)

Oye!, you ain't supposed to pick on the Amstrad CPC fans, C64 fans are only supposed to brawl with ZX Spectrum fans.  :P :P :P

And if Intelligent Software's Enterprise series of computers had been released on time the Amstrad would have been a non contender.

Every Amstrad game I've seen running has run half the speed of the Spectrum version.

And an Amstrad couldn't hold up a wonky table leg anywhere near as good as a Spectrum...

Well it wasn't C64, I had its younger brother, the Vic-20, but I used to enjoy playing "Raid on Fort Knox".

I will never hear a bad word about the Vic 20. My first computer and a machine I absolutely loved. I still tinker about with coding on one even now, from time to time. Got a half finished game on the back burner that I've got to optimise a lot to try and fit in unexpanded memory. Now that's a challenge.
