Emlyn Hughes International Soccer: a blast in multiplayer. Not the best looking game in the world but it had very good controls (at least the kid-me liked the way it handled).

Fort Apokalypse: again not the best looking game but great fun.

The Detective: It's such a fantastic little game, not very popular but very well done.

I too assumed he'd just made a typo. An Amstrad could never have been as amazing as a C64. Thought they just made fax machines ;-)

Oye!, you ain't supposed to pick on the Amstrad CPC fans, C64 fans are only supposed to brawl with ZX Spectrum fans.

And if Intelligent Software's Enterprise series of computers had been released on time the Amstrad would have been a non contender.

Every Amstrad game I've seen running has run half the speed of the Spectrum version.

Well it wasn't C64, I had its younger brother, the Vic-20, but I used to enjoy playing "Raid on Fort Knox".

I will never hear a bad word about the Vic 20. My first computer and a machine I absolutely loved. I still tinker about with coding on one even now, from time to time. Got a half finished game on the back burner that I've got to optimise a lot to try and fit in unexpanded memory. Now that's a challenge.
