Time to show something off so thought I might as well start with a video.

Genome is a reimagining of Jetpac as the main part of the game but I'm planning on putting in a few little mini-games between each level to deal with the amount of infection the player has once he has the ship rebuilt and enough fuel to get off the planet. I don't have bad guys in yet so there isn't that much game to show but the main elements of building the rocket, player control and firing, fueling the ship and launching to move onto the next planet are in place.

Note, it's a bit buggy with spawn points on rocket parts and fuel at the moment, as well as start of game but it's very work-in-progress so I can get away with that for now. All the graphics are just stuff I have lying around, apart from Jetpac himself, which I basically screen grabbed and animated from the spectrum game itself. None of it is likely to stay once the game is working and I look to get better images.

I'm quite a way behind some of the other games that have been shown so far because I really struggled with what to do but I'm committing myself by showing this now so I can get on with it. Most of this is pretty-much just 2 days work apart from a bit of framework updating a week or so back.

Ooh, yeah, I'll slot that in. Spent ages tweaking about with the one there already, even though it's just a temporary graphic as I couldn't find anything that would work for now.

I'll chat to you on discord soon about some further assistance if I can talk you into it ;-)

Even germs have personalities. If you zoom in close enough. Not sure I'd like to get too close to this guy, however.
