Two questions. Is it the logo of SmallBASIC? Why sakura was selected?

It's based off one of Nicholas's early examples... i think it was this one:

The original logo wasn't suitable for the android store listing, so I needed something new but no one with art skills volunteered

Hello, you can obtain a lot of good ideas from this kind of website. Perhaps you will be able to make a cooler logo.

I found the old logo of SmallBASIC and recreated it in Inkscape as a svg. The logo should be suitable for the play store. I followed the specifications from google. The logo can be easily scaled down to 32x32 pixel.

Yeah nah, I'm not sure. That recreation with the shadow effect looks very nice. Could we get an artist to offer a few alternatives? Maybe a competition?

Hello, I think that this design may be too ordinary. But I am not sure. 

On the other hand, a successful design may attract many people to download SmallBASIC.
