Might be true - dunno. Excuse my faulty English skill.

Believe me, your English is far better than my German language skills.  It was just an observation, and that Derron/Ron is just being Derron/Ron - no offense is ever intended.   :D

Don't worry, Derron, I know you're not deliberately going to try and upset me. Just a language interpretation thing. No offence taken.

Not every game is about amazing graphics, though. I keep reminding you of this.

v0.7.1 is released.

Containing an English game manual now, better live production (including preproduction), fixed sports simulation, here and there some new gfx, new programmes and scripts for custom production, tons of bugfixes ... and surely something more in the whopping 185 changelog entries I better skip here :)

v0.8.1 released.

As I missed to announce v0.8.0 here (which had hundreds of commits ...) I will keep it short here now.

With v0.8.1 a new contributor added hundreds of English localizations, corrections and other enhancements to our database. Means you guy might now be able to play the game in English without seeing these odd German phrases "nobody" can understand. ... Exceptions are the one we missed (the database became rather huge with hundreds of movies, series episodes, advertisements, shows, news, ...)

Next to the database we now use Brucey's new BlitzMax NG-module archive.mod to compress savegames with zstd - nix thing (fast and compression factor of 30x in our case - savegame time is now even quicker as compression is so fast).
A lot of bugfixes were done, balancing improved, AI was extended ... you got it: the usual stuff we do between the releases.

Derron, I think the gfx in your game looks really pro,

TVTower has an update!
Version v0.8.3 is live and comes packed to the brim: hundreds of new movies, series, news, and ad contracts are in the mix.
The channel stationmap got a major overhaul and now uses official Census 2010 data – meaning population numbers are now exactly where they belong (geographically, not on the couch). Plus, groundwork has been laid for resolution-independent population calculations – the future is bright! 🚀
Another major addition is the brand-new ScriptExpression engine. It enables movies, news, ad contracts, and more to use complex script snippets in texts and attributes. Whether it's deeper storylines or dynamic tweaks like switching between Marks, DM, or Euros based on the year – the engine makes it happen. The result: livelier content and simpler implementation of variations.
Smarter AI players, tons of bug fixes, dozens of UX improvements, and balancing so precise, even a gold scale would be impressed. In short: more fun, less frustration.

Looks like a pretty big update, nice one 8)

Didn't realise it came with a native Mac ARM64 version, even better ;D - Will give this a whirl tonight as I've not had a look at it in a long time since the docs were German only.

One thing though... As MacOS is a little shit these days when it comes to us mere mortals releasing apps, MacOS says the apps are damaged or can't be verified by Apple, blah blah and won't open. Even the old method of CTRL > right click > open doesn't work much anymore. However, there is good news in that there is a freeware app called 'Sentinel' which make life much easier for users to simply drag and drop onto the app and it'll then tell MacOS to do one and allow the app to run.

Might be worth linking to or adding the app into the TVTower bundle? Link: https://github.com/alienator88/Sentinel

Microsoft Surface Pro 11 ( Snapdragon® X Elite ), 16GB RAM, 512GB SDD.
ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM OLED 240Hz.

Until the next time.

Will try to have a look "in the next weeks". Dunno if the ARM64 version does even run ... am only testing the x64 one as I do not have a ARM-based mac here.
(as it is FOSS you can of course simply compile with a current NG ... as this is what I do at the end).

And yes... it should be available fully in German, English and Polish now (which is a lot of text to translate - while keeping the "jokes" alive).
