I'm gonna see what gives. Any feedback would be great. I have changed my mind on using 2 languages or more, it confuses me and leads to mistakes. Nope one at a time I think. I guess it is down to the individual. I think down to the wording (syntax) I can remember AGK c/s much easier than PureBasic although more can be accomplished with PureBasic in terms of producing .dll 's and operating systems and things of that nature. But I will not be going that route so it doesn't really matter. So there we are similar in some ways but different also. For now I'm gonna carry on with AGK S , hopefully I can reconnect with PB in the near future or maybe not we'll see.
  AGK S Is still an awesome  piece of kit and quite easy for what it can do, I have not used 50% of the commands so much more to accomplish. If I had not tried AGK I would probably of given up years ago. Paul Johnston if you are out there could you please start on AGK 4  .  If this language dies it would be a pity as it is all I'm comfortable with. Yes I might be able to learn another one but why when this one does what I want. I think all the people using Python should trash it and get AGK Studio. No need for all those addons, there's
loads of them.  Everything I need in AGK S is included to make 2d and 3d games or pretty much any app I want. I do not need a GUI
addon I can just code it as I go along using the commands in AGK.  Edit boxes buttons menus calendar clock as far as I know it is all there. 

 

 



 

If you have used 50% of the commands then you are doing very well indeed as a I don't think I have even used 5% of the commands so far!

Note I said less than 50 but yes for me also at the most 5%. And that is what I mean the game creators have probably thought of everything we need it's just a matter of knowing how to do it. I was gonna add them up and see how many commands there actually is but I have not got around to it yet but it is huge. However I do find it intuitive and I enjoy working with it. If I had to recommend a language this would be it. It is just one of those languages once you start using and get into it is very nice to use. PureBasic is on standby as AGK does what I need and there is only so much my brain can handle at once. I can make all sorts of things with AGK now and I Know quite a bit of PureBasic and a few useful things.
