International Kung-Fu

My entry to the Code a Game Comp "Best of the 80's". Late to the show but as I can't affect the winners or the prize fund then no harm in adding it into the mix. You can still vote, hint hint :))

Written in AGK Studio and as I like to challenge myself in these comps, this is my first 3D game with character animation. Took a loooong time to do the animations but for a first attempt I think they turned out pretty well.

Graphics : All by me apart from character from Mixamo and the Torii was from a Daz3D pack.
Music and Sound : Music and Sound pack from Unity Asset Store and / or Humble Bundle. Zero time to write any music this time.
Animation : All mine!, all mine!

Windows : Download
MacOS : Download

* If you are on MacOS then open a Terminal Window and type xattr -d com.apple.quarantine ( with a space on the end ) and then drag the game into the same window. It should then look like "xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Users/qube/Downloads/International\ Kung-Fu\ Mac/International\ Kung-Fu.app". Press Enter and then the game should launch without issue ( I really should start signing my Mac Apps properly ).

Until the next time.

WOW! Nice. How did you do the animations? Do you create art yourself or did you purchase it?

The model is just from Mixamo but the animations are all done by me. I used Cascedeur to create the animations although it was my first go with the software so haven't used half the features set yet. Good fun to finally be able to do animations ;D

Very impressive. Did you use the character controller?

Character controller? the game was written in AGK, not Unity.

Oh that one. I thought you meant the full on Character Controller of Unity, my bad. Nope, that was not used, nor any physics commands.
