Some thing I didn't realise about PB until last night and that is the fact that no media file of graphics files or sound files need to be kept with your exe file . once an exe file is made all you need is that and the 3dengine dll file . So there are no files for people to mess with lying around for all to see . I guess  most of you Knew that but I thought I would point that out as another plus for PureBasic. All going well over here with my PB adventure  and I feel I have definitely made a good decision in picking up this language . I feel it's the best basic I've tried so far . AGK is also great and can create mobile apps without much trouble . I think I would rate them the same they are both awesome programming tools.
I feel if you took all the good points of PB and AGK2 and put them together you would have the best language in the world , probably .

Once you collect 100-200MB of assets you will see that putting everything into a binary isn't always a benfit - especially when compiling pretty often.

In BlitzMax you could use the command "IncBin" - other similar language/kits might offer a similar command.

had a bit of a play and it seems it will only work with 3d apps when using 2d it does not work although there is a code includebinary . whether this does it for you I don't know and the documentation doesn't really tell me how to use it. I'll take another look tomorrow .

Worked it out in the end . put 3d assets in a zip folder and put in the same folder as exe and 3dengine. Unfortunately It doesn't bundle them into the exe file as I originally thought . My mistake.
