Still CBA to finish owt.

Same, not that I used to finish much anyway, engine for the game setup, all working lovely, bugs ironed out, even the ones that make you nigh-on a grey baldy, just need to add odds and ends, tart it up... [insert fart noise here] Ah, I cannot be arsed! :D

Tell you what got me as well, making levels, its such a dull aspect if you ask me, like, back in the day, if a game had a level/track/whatever editor (unlockable or not), I was on it like cheese on a pizza, playing nice, now... Chew!

Bit like ice, bare with me, I took the bin out last week and just, well, slid off the drive, over the path and on the road, lol, all the way trying to keep my balance, I just couldnt stop, I must of looked like Shakin' Stevens dancing on a coffee table that had a leg missing... I was like "Fooking hell!", though, once upon a time, I would of been on the look out for ice like that, running at it with reckless abandon and skid across it like I was on rails! :D

Now... Its just a chew! :/

Once something is a chew, well, if I can help it... I'm out! :D

Joys of getting old! ;)

I bought a new laptop last year. This when the (good reviewed) ones with the new Amd cpu's were in stock. The model is the Lenovo Legion 5 which has great reviews. Cpu Amd 8-core 4800H, 16Gb, 1tb ssd, nvidia 1650ti, 120Hz screen.

The refresh rate is really nice. Minecraft really plays a lot smoother. Scrolling through browser pages is really smooth also. The laptop does not get hot at all and I can not remember hearing the fan at all. I had recorded a 30 minute gameplay video and editing was smooth and the final render was ready in no time. I have not been making larger games or tools yet but compiling feels a lot faster also!

I think I wil get a new laptop during spring or early summer when the new Amd laptops are in stock. The new Amd 5800h cpu should be 23% faster. But it has been said there will be shortages this entire year. The amd laptop I have has only been in stock once since I bought it.
