Came across this today.

It is a cross platform game development package for 2D games.  I already tried compiling one of the sample games to Windows, web, and Android and it worked great for all 3.
Tried the first 2 tutorials.  The idea is that you create various components (called game objects) and program their behavior using Lua as the scripting language. It reminds me a bit of Unity, but not nearly as huge and complex.

Setup was a breeze.  Just extract the .zip file to a directory of your choice.  There doesn't seem to be a need to install any other development tools.

I tried getting into it. It was not that easy and I gave up.

I found a free fantasy console for the ipad(win/mac also) a couple of days ago. I have been trying that today. Good old basic. It is called lowres nx.

Tom you seem to of tried out a few languages and engines , which in your opinion do you like the best?
