My game supports game controllers or keyboard, and I've gone for keyboard movement with arrow keys and WASD Keys for shooting in 4 directions. Both very popular and well known keys...It seemed a logical choice to me...But The 8-bit Guy has also gone with this choice for his game and is getting hassle to reverse them - because 'people these days know WASD as movement keys'. Your thoughts?

Steve, I'd seriously go with both options and make it user selectable. Personal preference for me is definitely WASD for moment and the arrow keys for directional firing. I'd use a gamepad if I could, but those keys otherwise.
