AVG antivirus has out of the blue, started scanning the programs I write, whenever I compile and run them.
I'm using BlitzMax, and this happens every time I recompile a program.
So is there a way to white-list my stuff or stop it from doing this, without putting my computer at risk?
In AVG you can exclude folders from being scanned. So as long as you're sure you're not infected then set AVG to exclude the folder which has your source code in.
It took awhile to find, but it seems to have worked.
Thanks. :)
I had a similar problem with Avira Antivir but exluding folders wasn't enough there. After each compile it sent the new exe to the cloud first which slowed things extremely down (a new exe is always suspicious) so I had to disable the Cloud feature.
