Title: 3d assets at a bargain price
Post by: Pfaber11 on August 15, 2019, 19:12:27
Recently bought the 3d asset pack for AGK from steam and really like what I see . What I was wondering was is there any similar bundles out there which are royalty free and which I can use in my games. Ideally with textures.

There are some around.

If you were into blender I would suggest "blendswap" for individual models.
turbosquid (this is what Matty likes the most I think ;-)) offers stuff too.

Aside of that: for simple models the best thing is to do them on your own - you learn something and you always know the "licence" (as long as you do not model the logo of a company - or similar brand/trademark stuff).

Thanks for the reply found loads on itch.io for free although I would rather pay for them at a reasonable price and know they are then mine to own and use . seen a few saying free but not for commercial use . Ideally I would rather create my own with blender or another one I have used Although can't remember the name .
remembered it was wings3d that I was thinking of . Nice and easy to use . Gets the job done. I'm not saying blender isn't good but I find it a little complex .

I'll tell you what the 3d asset pack has done for me and that's I have learnt to make my own models and texture them . if I hadn't downloaded the 3d asset pack from TGC I wouldn't of got into this but I'm sure glad I did . It's a very skillful thing to do and my stuff is very simple so far but who knows what I'll be knocking out in 12 months time . I bought the asset pack for 1.59 in a sale on steam. A bargain.
