Apple do have a habit of forcing change which is a pain for both developers and users alike.

Now they are going to dump Intel CPU's and move over to ARM CPU's. Apparently the aim is to have the whole Apple Mac lineup using ARM within 2 years.

Yep probably a good idea actually, Intel seems to have dropped the ball in recent times and ARM is far more power efficient.  Apple will have to ensure software will run on both Apple ARM and Intel chips or it will get very messy though...The handwashing app looks good too haha...ridiculous waste of coding time!   :))

On the plus side I was watching a Youtube video of how a developer said it's a waste of time developing for Android, so for mobile Apple is much better - because Apple users are used to paying for product.

But if you have to now pay a subscription to develop on mac (even if you're outside the app store and on your own website) then that will put anybody but the big developers off supporting mac.  A crazy and greedy attitude!

Lol yeah he does resemble him.  I think Apple are making a good move moving to ARM and I love my MacBook Pro.  I just wish they wouldn't try to rip people off though - especially developers!...My first ARM-based Computer was the Acorn Archimedes 310.  My latest a pi4.  :)
