So when I put another forge video up... It'll be okay in General Discussion, you know, just to show you lot... But for anything, like, a bit off the radar which can cause a bit of a stir or a bit too personal which some might not be keen on reading, then, thats for the secret bit?

Like, I'm not interested in joining it either really, or discussing the finer and more heated debates such as why Macron has nicer hair then Johnson, or why the UK or EU is to blame for a cow farting in outer mongolia, I just need to know where to put the video of me being on fire!

Exactly So if anyone starts a political / religious / snowflake triggering thread that's deemed way off the spirit of the forum or likely to end in WWIII then I'll kick it into the hidden secret club and if any members want to continue it then they can do so ( PM me for access ) but hidden away from none members who want to avoid such stuff.

I doubt it'll get used much to be honest but it's there for the times if / when needed.

Ah well, thats good... So a little request to the ones signing up to run about in gowns, sacrifice goats and all that jazz... No matter how heated it potentially can get in there... Can it be left at the door on the way out... Its just, well, we do all have views, opposing ones, we all have different backgrounds, come from different places, and obviously, that reflects the way we think, variety is the spice of life of course, if we all shared the same opinion, life would be boring... And I admit I am a self certified divvy, and if something spills over, ultimately, I will itch to post, say my piece, and, well, I dont want to fall out with noone, but I do have my moments... But I know life to short as well, I know in about 25 years time I'll be sitting in a big chair in a nursing home, probably smelling of wee, and between now and then, I dont want to spend it bickering over bollocks... I've already had a lifetime of that so far... Cannot be chewed with anymore... I just want to have a laugh and carry on!

i don't think it is a good idea to allow such discussions. we have seen what happened on the blitzbasic forum...

people who were "friends" about coding, making apps / games / effects / gameplay / ai, etc... started to debate about topics which can only separate people.

it is not about freedom of speech, more about what do you choose to do with your time, energy, attention...

i would not mind if this forum is only about programming, making apps / games (or things related to that)
