Lots of plans have gone up in smoke, not Christmas exclusive... To be fair though, like the whole year, I'm just putting it down as another bad job, in my head, it is actually 369 days until Christmas, not to be pessimistic, because I'm gonna love my time off, but usual festivities this year, well, they are deader then a NaffCo54 jacket with 20/20 spilt on the front!

Hopefully, just hopefully, next year will sort itself sooner rather then later, I've got me diving trip to Malta rescheduled for May, looking at going to Genoa in the summer to do some as well, here in fact:-

Me and two of my brothers have tickets to go and see "World Of Hans Zimmer" in Clermont-Ferrand in September:-

Should be epic... And I'll be looking at maybe, I dunno, Turkey or something for a weeks bake inbetween.

Fingers crossed it'll all come together!

I've got a lads trip for a long weekend in Spain booked for next September that I'm going to start sweating on if this business kicks on much longer than Feb/March. Not to mention I'm planning a couple of weeks to visit old friends in Oz who moved out there 8 years ago the following month.

Jealous of the Zimmer concert. Big fan of that guys music; he's awesome.

Yeah, defo squeaky bum time again when booking trips... Everything I'm booking this year is a flexi-whatsit, not gonna muck about, if it still looks dodgy a month or so before I go, then I'm out, even if it means shelling out that little bit more when I've booked.

Aye, same here, I wasnt overly keen on his Superman stuff when I first heard it, being a fan of the old films, obviously I've got the big brash 'merica John Williams theme tune stuck in my head... That is Superman!

But, after listening to Zimmers take a few times, you can see Zimmers Superman score is about knowing your special, but are lost, confused, then out of nowhere... Hope!

Thats how I see it anyway, it tells a story, and once I understood it, it unblocked the original Williams score and yeah, I liked it a lot, great piece!

All in all, the characters "themes" are in his themes if you listen:-

Superman - Hope
Batman - Justice
Wonder Woman [yummy] - Truth
