I still think I can get done in time now I don't have to go away this weekend. I'm confident of this until I look at the old to-do list and start biting my fingernails again. I've culled a load already to give me a chance to get it done so I might have to revisit after the competition is over and put some more time into the game to release it completely how I planned it.

Hmmm, so you're back onto making the sequel to the original game that wasn't finished and you plan to release it for the following competition to the one it was originally meant to be for?

I admire your persistence, hahah. I'm expecting it for Xmas, 2021 :)

Here is my entry for the Go Nuts Competition.

Candy Pop
Download for PC and Mac here: https://conceptalpha.itch.io/candypop

Brief: Its a simple puzzle game that I have probably spent far too much Time playing  ;D
You have to clear the board of Candies. Clicking on the candies makes them grow larger until they pop!
The juice from the popping candy makes adjacent candies expand. Create Pop chains for massive score and multiplier boosts!

Hope you all enjoy!

Ok, I'm done too, so posting now as I'm a bit busy tomorrow. Thought I wasn't going to make it but I got there in the end. Even put back some of the stuff I thought I wouldn't have time to get done. Phew!

Game Title: Tommy Gunn
Download link and OS requirements: Itch.io - link below.
Required dependancies: None. You will need to switch off quarantine when running on Mac so instructions are on the itch.io page if you're not familiar with the process.
Brief info about your game: Tommy Gunn is off to save the world by rescuing scientists from all over the world who've been shifted in time by the evil, despicable boss of Syntax Bomb, Qube!
Any screen shots or video's: See itch.io page.
Media information: BlinkOk has done all the artwork apart from the soldiers decomposing animation which is from a purchased humble bundle asset pack. A buddy composed all the music and another friend did some of the sound effects that I didn't create. All work is credited in the game.

Download here for both Mac and Windows: https://xerra.itch.io/tommy-gunn

Regards Tommy Gun.  Looks great and plays well.   8)  That jump sound is very annoying though and there seems to be a collision bug sometimes on platforms, I was levitating until shot.  Turning off the mouse pointer when going fullscreen would be better.
