OOh, good shout. I spent £24.99 on buying that for the miggy way back in 1989, in Jarrolds. Spent weeks playing that - never finished it.

You do realize that is from Kenny's Assets. https://kenney.nl/assets/bit-pack

I don't think that was one of the asset packs that was in the list we could use.

There was a list?  I thought we were allowed to use any pack from kenny.nl as long as it was only one pack.  I don't see any mention of a list.

On the link Qube gave us it pointed to a few images and you could scroll through some more pages. I assumed it was anything that's within that lot and nothing else. Certainly not any of the other Kenny assets.

Ditto and the one I mentioned earlier wasn't within those 9 pages on itch which were all free/make a donation. Maybe there's 2 Kennys?

Following the link from the comp page
Quote
Outline : Choose any free 2D or 3D asset pack from Kenney's Free game assets and make a game.
The pack is on page 2 and called 1-Bit Pack.

Kinda moot now, though, since that contest is cancelled.

Tommy Gunn, is he shooting at Rocky :o

Yes that was my first thought lol...I'd never heard of him before that film, but it turns out he really was a boxer that has now sadly passed away.  So maybe a re-think on the name?

Very nice jamesmin, very nice looking artwork. Is the map all your own work or part of a texture pack?

It is one from the link I made in the Kenney comp. Big sprite set with characters too but hey-ho, perhaps the page selection section wasn’t working  :))

nice 3d take there :)

Oo, look forward to this one ;D

Turns out it's also the name of a famous porn actor but neither of them are anything to do with this game. There's also a C64 game called Joe Gunn that came out 11 years ago but that's just another coincidence.

The game is named after the Thompson submachine gun, nothing else. And I don't fancy changing it for a random coincidence.
