That looks pretty cool. I'll have a play as soon as you get it on Mac.

Mac version. I have very little experience with mac stuff so i hope i've packaged it up correctly

Got it downloaded but nothing happens when trying to launch it at all.

I see it's an AGK game. Might want to see if Qube can compile a working OSX version for you, perhaps?

A really nice concept implemented well, but even for me it's pixelated too much (and moving quickly) so it's tricky to see what's going on properly - and that's always important in a racing game!
Windows 10 64-bit, 16Gb RAM, Intel i5 3.2 GHz, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 (2Gb)
MacOS Big Sur 64-bit, 8Gb RAM, Intel i5 2.3 Ghz, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB
Linux Mint 19.3 64-bit, 16Gb RAM, Intel i5 3.2 GHz, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 (2Gb)
Raspberry Pi 400, Pi4, C64, ZX Spectrum Next.

I downloaded it and had to Allow installs from identified developers (adding my google drive) and it worked. Maybe cube can shed some light on it

There are a couple of clues to assist vision: 1 there is a light purple dot at the end of each straight that shows which direction to turn. Also the trees behind the road show which direction the track is.
In general it seems like there are two groups of people;
The up close and personal view group and the wider view group. I had intended to support both views but didn't get time. I'll make sure i implement that and post it here

Only the semi-blind should require that mate...On the whole it reminded me of Mario Kart (a good thing) but too low res dude.

Ok this link should work. You have to "verify" the developer
GDrive link

Trying to sort out this MAC version.
I have a .zip file on my USB stick.
If I click on that and run the app it works
If I upload it to Google Drive and then download it and try to run it i get The application "hotdog" can't be opened
Anyone have any ideas?
GDrive link

It's going to work for you as it's not been downloaded from the internet which means OSX automatically quarantines an app. It can be unlocked via the terminal and usually requires moving to a different folder once it's unzipped. Alternatively, you can get apple to certify it, if you have a dev account, so the quarantine issue is no longer relevant. Might still have to go into security on sys preferences and allow access after, though. Not sure.

For Mac you have to hold down 'control', right click and select "Open". You'll get some warnings but the game will run.

Ideally you'll need to do this to avoid warnings. I'll be doing so from now on for Mac apps / games. I'm sure it's easy enough as it's an Apple thing :o ::)

Got it up and running now. I really like it. Very clever for the limitations of the game jam you were writing it for. Reminded me of how a game like this would look on a C64, although at a reasonable speed.

Your game told me I was a steaming pile of poo for coming in 6th place, by the way. See attached screenshot. Boy, I laughed :-)
