First the demos:

And now the news.
QasarBeach has continued it's development in MX2 which is a custom modified version of Monkey2. Possibly one of the few apps that the language has ever been used for.

I'm gearing up for the next release which will be V1.25.

This will have a new timing system based on threads giving very tight  sequencer playback.

Plus the addition of direct sampling from an external sound source.

This will bring QasarBeach completely in line with the Fairlight IIx replication :)

Sounds really good. Great project.

thanks :) still a work in progress, but third time lucky. I'm in touch with the original designers so that's cool

Got some new demos for you - it's the best way to test if the dang thing works...

First some superb John Carpenter

and for something totally original with a hint of Pet Shop Boys:

That's bugging me now. I know the pet shop boys track but I can't remember its name. As they have a huge discography it's going to take me quite a while to play through it all and find out. Unless you put me out of my misery, of course :-)

I was looking at seeing them on tour next year until I saw the ticket prices (gulp).
