I learned the bike shop that service my road bike over inflated the back tyre, it literally burst just sitting in the sun in the back garden. Nearly shit myself. My daughter was on it doing over 20mph an hour earlier, glad it didn't let go while we were out on it.

Erm, yeah changing the subject quickly, like I said:
It's been a mix of being far more productive and taking my coding to a new level, drinking too much and learning some pixel/3d art techniques.

@gfk, yes sir, we'll have to meet up for a bike ride, If I recollect, your out Boston way. In other news.... I've learned to exceed 10 mph on a fartlecking session, after a 1 mile warm up jog with the dog. It's been a fecking journey, 18 months ago I was off work for 3 months after suspected dengu fever Post a state's visit.

Quote.flat/downhill I've had it up to over 30mph and that was
that's shifting!

Tried going North from Byards leap up the High dyke, rear slick=puncture after half a mile! 30 miles is a good stretch, and 14 mph avg is about right for my 2 decade old mountain bike!

Greetings friends.

Attached is an image of a dnd board with monsters on each tile and a few face down playing cards under each one plus three heroes representing 'lives' of the player.

To alleviate boredom each day I draw a pile of cards beneath a monster with the aim being to forge a path to and slay the dragon at the far left.

The cards have meaning in terms of daily activities.  Success or failure at the activity determines whether I defeat that monster and can clear that path.

Useful in lockdown while not much on.

Innovative huh?

so what do the cards mean??  ;D

Matty

Meaning of cards : I'll leave that to the imagination of the reader.  In my case they refer to various leisure activities.

I thought you had created some variant on the d&d format and was really interested in the how and what and how it played. I'm dissapointed now  :'(

Matty

Hmm.....if you can convince me to share the game rules I will....but they're a little tacky and embarrassing....

iWasAdam

NO!  8)
- you keep them to yourself and I'll think you mean 'doing the washing', 'clean the cat', 'make the bed', etc  ;D

Next up we're accepting players for 'Naked Monopoly' - Just avoid jail and NEVER land on the Waterworks!
