Venus visible in the sky tonight
« on: April 20, 2020, 10:24:46 PM »
Just a heads up for you guys who are interested in Space or just casual observers. I can't pick up on where it will appear from your P.O.V but Venus is exceptionally bright and visible in the sky tonight. Possibly something to do with a lot less pollution around where I am at the moment due to reduced traffic. The missus pointed it out and i confirmed with the Star Rover app that it's up there. If you look up and around then you should easy spot it. It's the brightest thing up there at the moment as far as I can see.

Can see it to the west from UK just now.  Can also spot the starlink satellites launched by SpaceX a few weeks ago, which should get easier to see as there's a new moon in 3 days time.
