New case for the Pi4
« on: April 19, 2020, 04:44:07 PM »
The Raspberry pi 4 generates far more heat than previous versions so some kind of heatsink/cooling solution is required.

I currently use the Flirc case which is passive cooled and turns the case into a large heatsink.  I've tried a fan shim solution, but while very quiet and effective, it gives the pi no protection what-so-ever - or indeed no protection for the fan itself.

This case looks like the best of both worlds:

Windows 10 64-bit, 16Gb RAM, Intel i5 3.2 GHz, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 (2Gb)
MacOS Big Sur 64-bit, 8Gb RAM, Intel i5 2.3 Ghz, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB
Linux Mint 19.3 64-bit, 16Gb RAM, Intel i5 3.2 GHz, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 (2Gb)
Raspberry Pi 400, Pi4, C64, ZX Spectrum Next.
