Simple little game put together in a total of:

3.5 hours from 8am until 1130am....this morning.

The objective is pretty simple and clear I'd say in the game.

He he, now that is one cool game to have a blast with for a quick 10 minutes of classic retro fun ;D

Sound effects? sound effects would be good :) ( unless Mac Safari and Chrome are having a brain fart? )

Overall I like it :D - nice and easy to just pick up and have a blast with, nice one :)

Very nice, it would be better with auto fire though.  Having to click click click a mouse button gets uncomfortable after a while.    :D

There's a sound icon bottom left Qube.

Maybe have a slight color/tint to the players bullets and enemy bullets (so two different tints). Eases to see to where you are currently firing / aming.

Thanks all.  Haha that sound icon was added 10 minutes after Qubes post.

Re other points raised,  I might work on it a bit more, maybe.  It was really just to satisfy an urge to code something simple quickly.

Just to let you know. None of your games have sound in safari  :o

Ahh...I believe the sound issue with Safari is because I use .ogg files.....I need to convert them to m4a and specify a different type for Safari browser.

Matty

Greetings Adam, Qube and Steve, can you confirm for me whether sound plays here now (in Safari):

I've included a additional files (m4a) with a mime type specified for these.

After your changes for Warlock it works *only* if Safari settings are changed by the user.

1) To ensure that audio is played, open the Safari menu and click Preferences.
2) On the Preferences window, click on Websites, then Auto-Play. ...

For every website set 'when visiting other websites' change this setting to 'Allow All Auto-Play'.

This allows sound to function in Safari.

Thank you.

I believe without trickery on my part to the browser that is the best I will achieve with Safari.  Auto play is deliberstely disabled on many browsers for good reason.

very good hunting Steve :)
