Monkey2 SOKOL + Apple Metal

Well that was fast....
Just got a new compile of monkey2 with a Sokol wrapper - and that deals with the basics of Apple Metal.

So, just running the base examples and the first 3 worked but the 4th failed. I worked it out to be the lack of a Metal shader, fixed it and it worked!!!!

And here's the result: Apple Metal!


Early days but looks like I've found a new toy... \o/

Wow nice. So there are actually people who still use Monkey 2? :) Don't want to start a flame war here, just curious!

That Sokol wrapper i saw before. Worked fine with the latest Monkey2 release. But then it is already outdated as Floooh is constantly updating Sokol and changed a few things.

yep I saw that he's moving fast. I've not been in touch with him, but it's a very interesting was to side step all the old code and move to a solid platform keeping all the old dev systems...
