Animated aperture
« on: February 02, 2020, 01:47:27 AM »
Hi, not sure if this the right place but I'm trying to get a similar effect of a camera lens aperture.

Not the change in depth of field but just the look of it opening/closing.

I've spent way too much time on this and just not getting there, so though I'd ask here.

Thanks, Jim.

you need the image of a blade ... set the origin accordingly - and then rotate the image. Rotate even more (360 divided by amount of blades) and draw again ... repeat for amount of blades.
That of course is only the theory :)

Maybe further ideas via here:

bye
Ron
