Hi everyone, I'm so happy you're all still here!  ;D

Just yesterday I stumbled across BlitzMax.org, finally realizing it's all open source now and people actually still go at it, which makes me deeply happy!
I love BlitzMax and to me it's my dev's home, so to say. A while ago I started to Java development, which is pure, lemony-fresh hell. About the only thing I'm really grateful for about this is the aggressive disciplining it has me experience. Coming back to BlitzMax then is like heaven, armed with new coding strategies. ::)

I couldn't believe Bmax has now overloads...when did that happen- and- HORRAY (once more)!

I still don't see a 64bit wintab (tablet) driver, but it feels like I might just not see it, yet?! :'(

Anyway, I'm super thrilled we're still alive and I'm glad I've found this forum! Not sure how frequently I'll read and post, but I'll be here for sure!
THANK YOU! (now where's the huggy smiley?! :-X ) :))

Hello, all discussions of BlitzMax and BlitzMax NG should be in BlitzMax / BlitzMax NG sub-forum.

Hello Naughty Alien,

Life is busy though, I use both Unity and UE4 now. And I recently became a dad, so just, always busy. Hope you are well!

Welcome back.

Morning peeps...

Thought I'd have a quick pop back in, I know I've been missing a while, lot on, new interests, all that jazz... It's been "a year and a half" really but, still going, hope everyone is okay too!

Anyway, congrats ENAY on becoming a dad, well done fella! :)

BlitzMax NG, sorta still using it, a little... Building a thing, very slow going due to being busy, but, basically, Oculus SDK->DLL->Blitzmax NG in a sorta Blitz3D fashion so to speak, and at the moment, yeah, I can implement a world (Of primitives at the moment) in Blitzmax NG, pull on me head set and have a gander about. Been interesting, most of the time has been looking at articles, see what stuff actually does! :D lol

Anyway, thats me, nice to say hello... And, I'm off again... If I do get this VR thing packaged at a reasonable level, then I'll post... But yeah, it wouldnt of been possible without BM-NG, well it would, but doing it just natively wouldnt interest me for a weird reason!?! :P

I just started messing around with BlitzMax today and it seems really great. The help files are not up to the standards of the B3D help files but so far I'm really happy with it.
