I've not noticed that behaviour but I will investigate and see if I can reproduce it. Anyone else noticed this?

No issues here.

FYI : I use Website Speed Test. Give it a page with a bunch of images and stuff, and you should get a reasonable worldwide response time.

It's fine here right in the middle Derby.
Celeron N3060 1.6 ghz duel core  4 Gb ram 32 gig storage  HD400 Graphics 160 gig external hard drive....
