PureBasic where and how to store media files
« on: November 01, 2019, 06:43:50 PM »
Good evening. Come across a problem and that's the way purebasic in 3d stores its media files. in 2d you just store them in the same folder as the exe file all good but in 3d mode it goes to where I told it to go in the program. what I would like it to do is look for them in the same folder as the exe file as in my 2d program . Anybody know how to do this. ? thanks for reading.

Well I figured it out store them in a zipped up file and just put them in the same folder as the exe file along with the 3d engine . Not so bad in practice seems to work ok .
