I'll be heaving my carcass about doing a 5k Race For Life mud run next month, so if its okay, can I plop this here in case anyone wants to add a donation:-

Well I did it!

5km in 45mins, which I'm pretty chuffed about considering I did sod all training for it!

In all, I made over £200 for Cancer Research, which was great considering I'm not on facey or out, so thank you to the ones that donated here!

Anyway, I've had a brill morning, sampled a couple of bevvys as a reward in the pub, now its shower time and I'm going to treat myself to a git big dirty chinese takeaway!!!! ! \o/ Nom nom nom nom

lol, if I can lug this torso I have now around a 5km circuit, through mud and over climbing nets etc etc I think I can excuse myself a chinese! Hehehe

Yeah, there was a few that give me a chuckle when I saw them, on the other side, while we were waiting for our group to start the race, doing a warm up and that, they had a segment from people who had the disease and all that, people who beat it, and people who were now sadly gone, then there was a minutes silence to remember people who were lost due to cancer... That was a bit emotional, this big burly bloke in front of me just broke down, his mate give him a hug. I was welling up me, huge lump in my throat! So even though it was fun and that, it stomped home why you were actually doing it!

Pub reward deserved.

Oh aye, I only had three beers afterwards as I was at work yesterday, but it was one of them that I would of loved to of carried on, it was a good day... Bloody work! :/

I was like "Are yous trying to kill me off or what!", but I will enter like, and apparently, theres obstucles on the course that electrocute you... Should be fun! Hehehe
