RetroPie available for pi4
« on: April 29, 2020, 10:54:23 AM »
RetroPie is now available for the Raspberry pi4.

It works very well, with the extra horse power over the pi3 I added a UI Theme (TRONKYFRAN) CRT Shader or bilinear filtering for vector games and overlay bezels, which really enhance the look of the whole system.

A setup video below.  And if you're into arcade emulation, check out work by OrionsAngel.  You can scale in RetroPie so you can fill the screen with a game and only have a section of the arcade machine art.

lol I know what you mean.  Burger Time looks amazingly authentic with the arcade machine overlay that guy produced, and a CRT shader.  We both love that game.  It's pointless me completing my clone when you can get the real thing, plus control is so much more responsive on pi4.
