The coding tool of choice.... that'll be Blitz Basic then.

Not giving too much away, but I was struggling with my debug text fitting in with the text of my adventure. When its an adventure, its kinda text heavy. After mulling it over.... the solution
whilst in development is a resolution triple the old spectrum.

Bit greedy, after all - how many debug terminals does one need?
