So I finally decided to buy the oculus go. Been having a lot of fun with it. Playing a game called"Dark Days."

Now I need to learn to develop for it. I know you can use Unity or Unreal, but I want to learn the native code. Supposedly it uses the Gear VR sdk. Having a hard time finding tutorials, everything I see in a Google search uses Unity.

Well,I have to work today, so I'll update when I can.

Yes, it uses the Oculus SDK ( Gear VR SDK ) but there are a couple of differences.

1.. The Go can support a 72hz refresh rate
2.. The Go has Fixed Foveated Rendering which is easy to enable in your apps. This feature renders the edges of the eye at lower resolution resulting in a general rendering speed boost.

For native coding Oculus have this which includes the native SDK, how-to guide and also samples. Should be enough to get you up and running.

Beelink SER7 Mini Gaming PC, Ryzen 7 7840HS 8-Core 16-Thread 5.1GHz Processor, 32G DDR5 RAM 1T PCIe 4.0 SSD
MSI MEG 342C 34" QD-OLED Monitor

Until the next time.
