Written in BmaxNG, so it's windows only right now.
8 challenging levels to complete.

Notes from the ReadMe:
Programmed in Blitzmax NG with blide
Music composed in Dirtybits5000, a chiptune tracker written in blitzmax.
Big thanks to Bruce Henderson for creating and maintining BMax NG [https://github.com/bmx-ng].
Thanks to Qube for running the compo and syntaxbomb.com

Instructions:
Use the WASD keys to move the ball toward the goal in the lower right corner.
The maze contains mines that active when they are colored red. When they turn white they are safe to pass over.
Some mines change the display, sometimes it will kill and force a restart of the level.
Touching a mine will also add time to the final score.Get the fastest time!

If your having a hard time completing a level, go slow. take your time.

Let me know if you find any bugs or have any other issues/questions.

Very cool! Thought it would be a very simple over head maze game.... Love the shader effects!

personnaly, i would have liked to play more, but since there is only WASD controls (and i have a QWERTY keyboard) it was too difficult to play, so i gave up !

What's the last date that I can update the game via the rules?
I'm out of town for a few days, so I can't update right now.

Derron

today ... "one week for bugfixes".

As said RemiD could try to change keyboard layout within Windows - switch to "English" and his azerty becomes a qwerty layout.

Played it a while ..I understand what is meant with "techdemo" it is kind of the "initial state" of a game. But: what "difficulties" would you add to the levels? Adding new obstacles means to progress even slower. The lava is already "threatening" a lot in combination with the mines needing you to wait ... and wait... and wait.

If you added more obstacles you would also need to add "helpers" - stuff freezing the lava for X seconds, or even turning back time a bit (if you had to collect something in a "dead end").

Game should start with "any key" instead of requiring you to hit a button with the mouse to then concentrate on your WASD-controls.

BTW: works fine on native Windows but also Wine (Linux) - thanks to BMX-NG ;-)
