Holy shit balls!!!!

"Karate Kid's Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso aren't the same people they were in high school— but their rivalry hasn't changed one bit. The Karate Kid saga continues."

New TV series coming to YouTube and it actually has the original actors playing their parts. Can't wait :D

All 10 episodes are now on Youtube. If you've a Red subscription then it's all included. In the UK we don't have the option to subscribe so each episode is £1.89. The first two episodes are free, which is sweet and shows it's worth the purchase.

Just finished watching episode 5 and I have to say... If you loved "The Karate Kid" this is a real treat to watch after all these years. The underlying tone of the series is spot on and there are great humours parts in there, plus great nods to the original film. As a big fan of the original film the last part of episode five gave me goose bumps. Daniel in his karate outfit doing kata with the original music playing, makes me want to do a few crane kicks, but I know I'd put my back in these days.

Overall, if you're a Karate Kid fan then go watch. They've done a really good job for us old farts to sink back into that world.

Finished watching all 10 episodes. Loved it ;D

Great "oo, er!! I wanna see more" ending which hopefully leads on to a season 2. Cobra Kai was a hell of a lot better than I thought it was going to be and clearly wasn't a cheap quick cash in on the Karate Kid legacy.

Bring on season 2, I want to watch it now!

Ditto - it was a nostalgic cheese-arama.  Much better than I thought it would be and lots of funny nods to the original.

It's happening! IT'S HAPPENING!! - Cobra Kai Season 2 is heading our way \o/ - I knew it would happen considering how brilliant fun the first season was. Took everyone by surprise.

In preparation, it's time to listen to one of the most under appreciated theme tunes in movie history ;D

Creaky door time on an old thread ;D

Wooohooo - Cobra Kai - Season 2 has a launch date - April 24th 2019 they release all episodes. I won't be around for a few days while I binge on this :P - The 1st season was way above expectations so I hope Season 2 is just as good, if not better.

You should :) - Any fan on the original Karate Kid will love this. I thought it was going to be a quick cash in on just having Daniel and Jonny on screen again. Turned out to be a really great treat for Karate Kid fans and highly enjoyable. Great story and some great treats for the fans.

Yeah, I hope they don't switch and go all silly modern PC  / SJW stuff. Hopefully they have stuck to the passion they had when creating the first season and come up with a cracking second season. The trailer looks promising, dojo vs dojo, so fingers crossed ( just like when waiting for the 1st season ).

Damn, I forgot about this. I watched the first couple of episodes of this on you tube a few months back. Was really good what I've seen so far. I'll pick it up again.

I watched the rest of the series a week ago. It was, as Qube said, really good. So much better than I expected. I'll be binge watching the second season for sure.
