I know my name is a fairly common name.  Apart from the Essendon footballer there are books written by people with my name on amazon and now I just found on twitter an 'Adult Entertainer/Model' based in the UK who uses twitter handle mattlloydxxx

At least most people I know only know the footballer....

From Matt.

If the world has given you a label of mentally ill you may as well use it to have some fun.

Here's something.

In April 2017 I released a book on Amazon.

According to their reports I had fewer than 5 sales - mostly to family.

A year or two later I bumped into an old friend I hadn't seen in nearly 10 years who expressed understanding of what I'd written in the book and indicated she had read it.

Yet according to Amazon I'd not had any sales beyond immediate family  . .

Mostly to family
vs
No sales beyond immediate family.

Also...kept the family your books? Did the person just tell she knows your book or was she referring to specific content in the book? Maybe you wrote something others wrote about too. Maybe you talked to that person about the stuff in the book... 10+ years ago.
Maybe you met her afterwards and forgot about it (dunno what pills you took over the last decade).

Bye
Ron

Since when can you see who specifically buys your book on Amazon?
My wife, who sells their books for years on Amazon, can't confirm that statement.

3 sales to family, "fewer than 5 sales" --- so 4 sales
3 to family, 1 to your old friend :)

Test performed today at 5pm - 18 out of 50 correct
Test performed 4-Sep 18 out of 50 correct.
Test performed 11 July 29 out of 100 correct

Attached

No other tests performed between these.

Expected result = 40 out of 200
Actual result = 65 out of 200
