I don't do social media anymore either.  Once they started to sort the feeds so they could censor everything and make the advertisers happy, I started to hate it (FB and then Twitter too).  I don't think most people noticed it then or even now.  It's a good way to show your stuff to people though, I guess?  Never seemed to work out that well for me.

It's the same with every internet site it seems:
1. start out free and actually be useful
2. wait for everyone to sign up and get billions of people on there
3. put ads all over everything and market to those people
4. censor anything that doesn't help products sell or forward agendas

I have a further mystery come to light:

Curious.
I found a sketch I had left in my car of a person.  It's been there a while-the paper has sat in my car for quite some time under clutter.

Someone has drawn a third eye-typically a symbol of new age mysticism and psychic stuff-in the forehead of my sketch.

As far as I know no one has keys to my car so I wonder how it got there?

I certainly wouldn't draw such a thing.

Did you have an evil twin when you were a kid?  A sibling you kind of remember but nobody talks about and everyone pretends was never there?  It was probably them.

A: Possible causes.
1. Drugs (prescription or other).
2. Drinks.
3. Memory can play tricks on a person. Only 20% is retained after sleep. When combined with above then less even.
4. Sleepwalking. I used to do that and when parents told me stuff I did next morning I couldn't believe a word they said. Unfortunately they had evidence..(witnesses).  :-[

B: I avoid Facebook and the likes like the plague. Only on it for to please family members. I do not add any others and I don't do likes or post things etc.
Downside is that there's a distant cousin with the same name as mine, so when employers investigate me they will think him is me.  ::)

I'll tell you a funny story..or a weird story.

On Monday I was a little angry with the world. I wrote some almost murderous threats on my private blog to no one in particular as I was quite, quite angry.

Anyway the anger subsided and I went to a restaurant for dinner on Tuesday night.

After dinner I walked back to the car and two young women were walking on the other side of the road. As I crossed level with them they shouted out 'ARE YOU ANGRY ENOUGH YET' - then as we each got in our separate cars they stopped their car in front of me at began kissing one another before continuing on.

It was rather surreal.

I think this thread is going to become a repository of weird and unusual experiences I tell you all about.......within reason...there've been some good ones recently such as the guy walking around with the supermarket with a VR visor on shouting out 'Don't touch my babies!' and being whisked away by security. Or the gang of 20-30 youths who attacked another group of youths the other night who set up a temporary cardboard shelter in my local park - with shaving cream, fire extinguishers and cardboard shields...quite surreal....some of them were wearing motorcycle helmets and shouting 'THEY'RE JUST AROUND THE CORNER' as they rushed for the shelter.

Wtf, dude.   :o
But can't be fully surprised. I've had my share of weird events too.

Example:
Like 10 years ago I split up with ex-gf and she was taking me to court for child support.

I was not in a sound financial situation, even begged her not to go through with for 1 year so I could finished studies, build a career and offered paying support off the record so I could still buy a home and stuff first, which of course she all rejected. So I was down and out even though I met someone new soon after.

1 week before courtcase I took the sub from work to home in rush hour. While stepping out an unknown man passed me by and very grim and viciously he directed a remark straight at me(mind you I was in a crowd):
"The way to the elevator is THERE."
My new gf and I were very puzzled for didn't make any sense.

The courtcase turned out very bad for me, paying way more than I could and should a later attorney explained, but hey my ex had a female lawyer, the judge, and basically anyone else in court were women, besides my own layer. Afterwards I came out understanding basically all my future plans were in the toilet, so pretty upset, tears in my eyes I tried to find my way out of the building as asap. Then someone from behind said in exactly the same tone of voice:
"The way to the elevator is THERE." - I really felt like slapped and laughed in the face.

Now one could say this is just a coincidence, but I've had too many similar encounters to now know it's not so. Strangers talking to me about things they couldn't know for instance, in occasions warning me even.

When I saw the movie Fallen it chilled me to the bones for I recognize the cunning evil in it and almost for sure someone must have had similar experiences to be inspired making that movie(or a very weird imagination).

Many similar occasions later I'm pretty convinced could be something like that. If so, there's something reassuring in it: if the dark side exists, so does the light to help and protect you.

Thinking about this could drive someone mad, so I recommend *not* to dwell on it. Just enjoy life to the fullest whenever possible while not hurting others and yourself.

A creepy story from 2015.

I was hospitalised with a mental illness.

On the first day the nurses gathered around, and a woman with a guitar and they sang 'Hotel California' ("you can check out any time you like but you can never leave")

On the first day the nurses gathered around, and a woman with a guitar and they sang 'Hotel California' ("you can check out any time you like but you can never leave")

Now that's just f-ed up!
If a person is already on the edge that's perhaps pushing it over and last thing they wanna hear. Makes you wonder what ill inspired person did this, for what reason and who all allowed this to take place and why? Hardly comforting..

How can someone in the right mind allow this? Were they 'misguided' thinking of it as being nicely ironic in the sense of hey don't take it all to serious round here? The road is paved with good intentions, but I would definitely fire the lot of them for it's unprofessional and irresponsible. They are lucky to not get sued by anyone there.

This enhances my observation that people are sometimes 'steered'  into a certain direction, just to mess you up or help you out.

Something I've learned over the years is:
It/they take what is good about a person(e.g a quality/gift), turn it around for it to be used against them. Also with a certain irony, which can be seen easily, if one pays attention.

For instance: Robin Williams greatest gift was to make people laugh, act silly, pulling faces, but he was struck by a disease immobilizing his expressions. Also, he acted in a movie about getting back a wife that committed suicide. Decade or 2 later, he killed himself..

If that's not evil irony staring you in the face then I don't know.

Michael Jackson, was a shy sensitive kid, successful, but robbed of his childhood and didn't feel loved as a child, so decided he wanted to catch up, give back, love and protect children, make them happy being a good person. Now we all know sort of what happened and how ended.(not good).

And I can name countless of these 'little incidents' and 'coincidences', the list is endless..

I don't know if it is a wise thing to share this for sounds like I'm crazy and also might bring right upon ones doorstep what should be avoided. But I also feel it somewhat as a duty to share information, because I feel people have the right to know about and decide for themselves what to do with that as part of free will. Even though appears it's not good to know all and everything.

Nevertheless in my opinion it's something to be aware of, but not to overly dwell on for can drive a person insane and have the opposite effect. Just pay attention and be aware of the world we live in. It's just common sense, like:

-When you go out in the jungle to get some foot , you'd be wise to get your shots, take mosquito repellent, look at your surroundings if there are no tigers hidden in the high grass, but not with too much fear for you'd get clumsy, make noise and be noticed faster.

-When you go out in a bad gang ruled neighborhood you'd be wise to look over your shoulder, but not too much for then you'd become looking as someone who doesn't belong, so a potential target for robbery.

-If you're in a knight's battle wear a thick amour, but if it's too heavy it will immobilize your movement. So one must en dup somewhere in the middle between agility and protection.

Now important thing to notice: not all that's out their and hurts you is there to hurt you, but make you understand and grow as a person.

Balance is the keyword in life.

Hope this helps anyone.

One more for you.  The company I work for has two names one for internal use (odd name) the other for public use (known).

I was at a restaurant today and a woman on the table nearest me (no affiliation) blurted out a comment about the internal name of the company before quickly asking herself 'why did I just say that?'

I prefer the term 'coordination' - there is design in these events not mere random chance.

It appears so. But as said before: do not dwell on it for can drive a person crazy and that might be the objective.

I think the best approach is 'Stuff Happens!' and not to loose sleep over it. The simple solution if usually the right one, such as: You spent some money and you can't remember doing it. It was probably something so mundane that you did it without conscious thought and let your sub conscious handled the transaction.
IE Try learning piano, at some point you will have to learn to let one hand play without conscious control, pretty freaky the first time it happens but quiet normal.
As for my weirdness, I have (what seem like) memories of people and situations that don't fit into what I presume to be my life story. These memories can be triggered by mundane events, like playing a piece of music and overcoming a technical difficulty in the passage. This can trigger memories of overcoming the same difficulty previously and the people, the surroundings and backstory that goes with it. Its odd but I can still function and enjoy my life providing I don't spend my time fretting over it. Have fun cps

You are partially correct Rick about the objective.  It is either designed to drive me crazy or strengthen my sanity....iron sharpens iron and all that-I have become adaptable and learned many many techniques of living over the past 8 months, techniques and lessons you may never need to learn and I hope you don't have to.

For example...once again my car was invaded.  This time a piece of paper with the words 'Self-destruct' written on it was placed in the shelf on my front driver's door.  Obviously I didnt do that.
