Still here. Winds are gradually dying down. Another tree just fell in front of my apartment, so it is still dangerous out there. Very high wind gusts, and a lot of trees and structures already weakened from the hurricane. There is actually a curfew here until 6:00 pm EDT, mostly to keep people off the streets while emergency crews clean off the roads. Suppose to be more or less safe to go outside (with a lot of caution) around 8:00am

I love the tropics and I can kind of relate to how it scary it must be to stay there. My girlfriend is a Filipina, which pretty much means plenty of trips to Asia many times a year, and I understand how quickly the weather can swing wildly from sunny and calm to windy and stormy in a matter of moments, especially when the wet seasons move in and out.
You're braver than I am ( or just silly
). I've witnessed some seriously harsh tornadoes but nothing as big as what you've had.
I'm glad you/things are OK there and on the turn for the better.

Ooohh, looks like natures own 'job creation' scheme!
No news from ThickO just yet. Hopefully they are OK and it's only a power/housing reason why they haven't posted back just yet

Glad to hear you are alright.
It was rough up here in Kissimmee, can't imagine what it was like further south.
