Even as an Atari ST guy back in the day, that warms my cockles. #oldskool   :D
OK, where is the ban button on these forums :P

For the record, SyntaxBomb prefers the Amiga over the ST :D - I'll always have super fond memories of the day I loaded up Pro Tracker and armed with ST-01 and ST-02 sample disks created my first MOD tune. I still have it, it sounds shockingly bad, but I was in pure awe of the possibilities.

Mac Studio M1 Max ( 10 core CPU - 24 core GPU ), 32GB LPDDR5, 512GB SSD,
Beelink SER7 Mini Gaming PC, Ryzen 7 7840HS 8-Core 16-Thread 5.1GHz Processor, 32G DDR5 RAM 1T PCIe 4.0 SSD
MSI MEG 342C 34" QD-OLED Monitor

Until the next time.

Ooh, a list of classics I had over the years :

Vic 20 ( had this for my 10th birthday and spent many many hours coding and playing games on it )
Texas TI-99/4A
ZX Spectrum 48k
Sinclair QL
Amstrad CPC 464
Amstrad CPC 6128 ( loved this one )
Atari 400
Atari 800 XL ( spent crazy hours playing Bruce Lee and IK + )
Commodore +4
Commodore 64
Amiga A500 ( 18th birthday )
Amiga A1200
Mac Studio M1 Max ( 10 core CPU - 24 core GPU ), 32GB LPDDR5, 512GB SSD,
Beelink SER7 Mini Gaming PC, Ryzen 7 7840HS 8-Core 16-Thread 5.1GHz Processor, 32G DDR5 RAM 1T PCIe 4.0 SSD
MSI MEG 342C 34" QD-OLED Monitor

Until the next time.

Ah IK+, I think it came with my miggy, but I ditched it for I missed the humor, blood and gore from Barbarian on the C64.

Specially loved the move where you turn round and cut of the opponents head, which then bounces on the floor with a hollow sound(lol), he goes through his knees and a burst of blood sprays from it's neck. Then the troll like creature comes along, drags the body away and sometimes kicks the head away. Brilliant!  ;D

I loved the Amiga ( all of them ) and I think it was definitely the Lion King in its day, especially for games and also apps, only marginally rivalled by the ST because the ST had a MIDI port. In all other ways the Amiga was suprior. I had a 500 and a 1200 and I put a blizzard '060 into the A1200  :P

It was also the first computer that I used to gain access to the internet, Aminet specifically.

@Qube
I loved the trackers too, especically when Octamed was released :D
One that I've grown fond of is openmpt from https://openmpt.org/

We used to have the occasional nostalgia thread over on bb.com and as an 'olden' I love them

btw if you can help it... don't get older, I never had any health issues until I tipped over the 40 mark. Now I have a few ailments so I'm going into the 'garage' on Tuesday for an operation to get some minor repairs done :D

I didn't work with AMOS but I still have my old equipment and much more in the basement:

- VIC20
- C64-I / C64-II
- C128 / C128D (plastic) / C128D (metal)
- Floppies: 1541-I / 1541-II / 1571 / 1581
- Printer: MPS-801
- Monitor: C1084
- Amiga 500
- Amiga 1000
- Amiga 2000
- Schneider Euro PC
- Commodore PC-20
- Epson HX-20

My wife says that this is electronic garbage but for me it is pure nostalgia. I still have my floppy disks, too but copied all of them ages ago to the PC because they demagnetize.
Kind regards
Krischan

As long as you find somebody who pays for it. Now would be a good time to sell it but I'll keep it, it is mine :-D My precious. You must take it from my cold, dead hands.

The first one I ever programmed on was an Exidy Sorcerer.  I think my Dad got me the Atari 800 so I'd leave his computer alone, heheheh
