I have saved some money, and I have two options to buy some cards.

The first option is to buy a new card gt 1030, which has a very low energy consumption. A power supply of 300 waets. 300,000 Colombian pesos.

The other option is a power source used gtx 550 ti, which I sell at 175,000 Colombian pesos, however apparently I have to buy power source at least 450 wats.

What can you recommend me?

And for what it's worth: neither is a great card.

I have an AMD RX 480, which is the bare minimum VR-compatible card, and it scores 8,086.

But if nothing else, you may want to get the benchmark score of your CURRENT video card, and see how it compares with the ones you are looking at, to see if it would be worth to upgrade or not. Typically, unless it's at least 50% faster than your current card you probably won't even notice a difference.

Of course prices for 'good' video cards can be ridiculous, especially outside of the US and Europe...

Thanks for the reply. Here in Colombia an Amd Radeon Rx 480 Card costs very expensive, it would save you about three years to be able to get it.]

At present I have a gt n7100 256 megs and a 9800 gt of 1 giga capacity that is failing, in such case seems to be that if it is worth, the new es1030, while the other the gtx 550 ti is used.

I am selling a gtx 1050 card at 350,000 Colombian pesos. It is used, but is said to be in perfect condition, does not require much source of power.

Really worth it?
