Thanks. It looks different in real life though. Doesn't come across well on this pic.
In the art world they like stuff like that's more vague, that doesn't tell what it is but let people think about what depicts. e.g:
"Bleeding City"

Can you tell what this depicts according to you?

Hard to see anything specific but I can contort it to see two adventurers about to cross a rock bridge.  They stand at lower left.

true .. I just came with this little overlay of how I had seen Rick's painting.
it's a bit of a coarse sketch but should convey a clear image sort of, I think?.
It's a thing that doe's when it don't..

Hehehe.. Some really great guesses. Nice.

But eh.. no.
This came from the state of my mind and heart feeling on fire, some 15 years ago during a hot summer. I felt sad, alone and desperate after loosing my girlfriend, the feeling of detachment from my son(residing with his mother), being out of a job and also about the increasingly grim state of the city and the world around us(terror and growing harshness of society), depicted in a view of the rooftop corner from my old apartment in a ghetto-esque neighborhood, looking down at the cross-road and a small grocery shop across the street, with some parked cars in front of it and in the alley on the left, plus a car and a large truck driving on the main road of which the vibrations would travel all the way up the building's walls.

Above the store there had been a fire, from which a parent that went to fetch his child couldn't escape due to fact he barred the childs window in his room and he had removed the door handle in order for the kid not come out by itself. He was last seen standing in front of the window with the child in his arms.(almost forgot this fact). Luckily I was on holiday when happened so didn't have to witness. Later on, a Chinese family moved in there and life went on as if nothing happened.

Also there were quite a few accidents there at the crossover from my side of the street to the shop, even one with a small child, while people at city-hall were doing nothing to limit speeds until was too late.. All this is why the dirty stone walls of the buildings are colored overly red, as if they are bleeding or on fire, even more so on my side.

MrmediamanX, was in the right direction with some of the overlays: The door like structures are entrances to stone portal stairways but could also at the same time be regarded as gravestones.

Greetings.

These are the beginnings of a picture attached I am thinking of painting somewhat larger once I've got some good reference images to paint it as larger.

The picture is meant to depict an ancient medieval knight standing in a futuristic dark corridor, far into the future, fighting against a beast of biotechnological cosmic horror.  There is either a tendril or tentacle from it curled around his right leg and the gaping maw can be faintly seen in the shadows ahead.

It represents the idea of an older way of life standing against the inevitable crushing form of spiritual and technological progress.

MrmediamanX

it sounds like a neat concept for a game.

Thanks MrMediaManX

That 1st pic indeed looks like a great end level boss.

Nah....just random sketches....circles, triangles, squares joined together to form some kind of humanoid robot...work was quiet that day...

Here's a picture I've painted this morning - going to make a poster out of it as well and put on my wall (like a few others I've done with)
