Another picture:
This one was drawn in pencil, coloured over with a Wacom tablet and then the auto color level filter was applied which significantly changed the colors - and I like them this way - have a nice feel to it

The facial expression in these series makes one wonder about what's going on/what are they thinking about, and that's what makes them quite good for it would make people stand still in an art gallery instead of just pass by.

I like the Vincent one you showed.  That is excellent.  But then that's to be expected.

I also wanted to post a picture by da Vinci I once saw in the Paris Louvre, which depicts 2 noble men who are looking(facial expression, eyes) in a very peculiar way, bit like Mona Lisa(which I don't really like), but more nasty.
They really make you wonder what on earth are they thinking, something your pictures do too.
Unfortunately couldn't an image of it.  ::)
